CROSS COUNTRY SKI ON OUR TRAILS OR GO ON A BACK COUNTRY GUIDED TOUR

Ski from late November through mid-April on our snow favored, wind sheltered

33 km trail system. 

We groom daily for skate and classic skiing using a fleet of grooming vehicles, including a Pisten Bully. 

The trails wind through gently rolling forested terrain located mostly on National Forest land with views into Glacier National Park.  30% rated easiest, 50% more difficult, and 20% most difficult. 

A 1km loop is lit for night skiing.

Our PSIA-certified instructors are eager to help skiers of all ages. We offer lessons for first-timer through advanced skiers in classic, skate, backcountry and telemark techniques. Lessons last 1.5 hours. Reservations recommended.

A PSIA-certified ski guide and instructor with over twenty years of outdoor leadership experience, Mark Ambre joined the Inn in 1996. He has led more backcountry ski and snowshoe trips in Glacier National Park than any other area guide.

We specialize in user-friendly mid-weight waxless skis.  Plenty of kids’equipment, snowshoes and backcountry touring skis are available, along with entry-level skate gear. All boots use NNN BC bindings, except kids’ sizes 28-36, which are SNS.
