On June of 1989 my wife & I were camping near Goat Lick. about one month. Every day I visited Goat Lick and took many photos. It was one hot day. Goats were rested in the shade of the trees and under the bridge during the day. After the sun went down to the mountain ridge, goats were gathering on the Goat Lick wall one by one. and licking the mineral rich soil. It was over 50 of  them all together. This photo was published in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC and many magazines and books all over the world. Since then I has been photographing mountain goats, I have never seen such a big number of goats gothering at Goat Lick at once.
